About Us

We are a husband and wife team who moved to France in 2004 to escape the rat race and provide a better environment for our children to grow up in.

The Engineering side of the business is undertaken by Tim Haw; he is a chartered structural engineer with over forty years experience working for consultants and contractors on a wide range of projects. Projects ranged from the roof of the Channel Tunnel Terminal at Waterloo and the Eden project in Cornwall to house extensions and refurbishment in remote French villages. Throughout his carreer he has also worked on masts and towers and the restoration and renovation of historic buildings in both France and England.

The work of a structural engineer is not only problem finding but also solution finding. Using inventive and cost effective ideas, with a flexible approach, Tim aims to find a solution sympathetic to the building while taking account of preferences and budget.

Professional Indemnity

All work is covered by Professional indemnity of up to 1,500,000 euros by Gan Assurances or 1,000,000 British pounds through Kingsbridge Contractor Insurance.
